Under the Spotlight

In this issue, we explore and imagine what it means to be truly attentive (in both performative and non-performative terms) and how might our assumptions of which behaviors signal attention be correct/incorrect. We’re interested in exploring how audience members and performers engage one another as well as the role(s) attention/attentiveness play in our relationships with one another.
