In this issue, we consider moments in life — in art, in history, in society — when something fundamental changes. Looking back after that time, all interpretation is different. Can we recognize those changes while they’re happening? We’re interested in unpacking the many subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) ways in which both society and our own selves go through a paradigm shift.
